Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground chicken1
  • 1 1/4 cup apple diced (such as Fuji or Gala)1
  • 1/3 cup white onion diced1
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder1
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt or sea salt1
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg1
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon1
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed1
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme1
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder1
  • 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder1
  • 1 tablespoon oil for frying1

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, diced apples, onions, and all the seasonings1.
  • Use a 1/4 measuring cup to scoop the meat mixture and form into patties1.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Working in batches, add chicken patties in a single layer and cook for 5-6 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and crisp and the center is cooked through (patties will take longer if they are thick)1.
  • Serve with breakfast or enjoy on a salad1.
