Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Pinch of salt

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth.

Add the vanilla extract and mix until incorporated.

Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into the mixture and stir to combine.

Fold in the chopped strawberries carefully to prevent them from getting mashed.

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Allow the cookies to cool before dusting with powdered sugar.
